This Valentine’s day, enjoy a celebration of self- love...

This Valentine’s day, LOVE YOUR LIFE. We are removing loneliness and commercialism from the holiday, and focusing on the most important kind of love: self love. Instead of sitting at home, head out to "Love Your Life" and CELEBRATE YOURSELF. Grab a friend, or bring your children, and join us for a Valentine's evening like no other.  When you look good, you feel good, so get dressed up and take a walk down our red carpet to our portrait wall, where you and your children or girlfriends will have free photos taken. The children will then join our team of volunteers for their own fun (and pizza!), while the ladies enjoy a delicious catered dinner.  During dinner, you will be inspired by powerful female speakers and connect with other local single moms. Bid on self-care items in our raffle, then reconnect with your little one(s) at the end of the night for dessert and a special surprise.

Proceeds benefit Single Mom Strong. While only single mothers may receive sponsored seats, this event is open to ALL women- not just single moms!

Keynote Speaker: Becky Johnson

With a long list of academic and athletic achievements and leadership roles in business and the community, Becky Johnson knew her inner drive was not always healthy. So as she turned 50, she devoted her energy to discovering why she felt the need to take on so much and be everything to everyone. She learned how her experience as an overfunctioner stemmed from unhealed childhood trauma, which she first shared on stage at the wildly popular BOLD Speaker Series. Becky is a senior manager for field safety at PG&E. She earned her BA from UC Berkeley, MBA from Drexel University, and Master of Science from Embry-Riddle. She has held numerous community leadership roles and is an avid CrossFit athlete and ultramarathon runner. Becky is a proud member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and a member of Mensa.
